Know Before You Go
SJMQT is dedicated to remaining a safe and welcoming space for our community and visitors.
Please review the guidelines below to prepare for your visit. We look forward to seeing you!
Visitor Guidelines
Here is how you can help keep the Museum safe for everyone:
If you or anyone in your party are feeling unwell and/or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please postpone your visit.
Timed entry reservation is recommended. A limited number of walk-in spots are available each hour.
Prepare contactless payment if possible.
We are still requiring all visitors over the age of 2 to wear masks, even for those who are vaccinated.
Maintain at least 6 feet distance from others not in your party.
Wash hands and use hand sanitizer frequently during your visit.
Here are the measures we have taken to keep you and our staff safe:
Timed entry and limited visitor capacity to ensure social distancing.
Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the museum.
Regular cleaning of frequently touched areas.
Plexiglass shields at our front desk.
Updated HVAC system to maximize air movement and filtration.
Touch-free faucets, soap dispensers, and bottle filling station.
Please note that we are following state health and safety guidelines and have removed much of the seating at the museum. Foldable chairs are available at the front desk by request and are disinfected after each use.
