Dear Friend,

We are writing to inform you that San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles has made the difficult but necessary decision to close the Museum effective Wednesday, January 11, 2022.

In the interest of the well-being of both our visitors and staff, the Museum feels that temporarily closing this is the best decision at this time. The Museum will continue to closely monitor City, County, and State guidelines as we navigate this rapidly changing pandemic.

Stay tuned for exhibition-related content on our Facebook and Instagram pages, including behind-the-scenes footage of our installation process and sneak peak previews of selected works.

The San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles has a robust online museum experience, helpful when our museum doors are closed. Our Museum From Home webpage offers a multitude of engagement opportunities, including: recorded lectures from our Textile Talk series; digital exhibitions; at home activities from our Maker Space, perfect for artists of all ages; and our artist spotlights, which give a deeper insight to the creative minds of today's fiber artists.

We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible. We are grateful for your support and patience.

Our best wishes for good health for you and your loved ones.

Paula Kienert
Interim Director
