OVERVIEW:
In this in-person workshop, you will learn to advance sewing on your machine in three sessions, all the while discussing tips and tricks to ensure you begin a successful sewing practice. Dionne will guide you through ergonomics, techniques, project ideas, and, more broadly, how to sit down at your sewing machine without frustration.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
This class is for beginners who have taken Dionne's Learn to Sew 1, or for experienced sewists who would like to learn new techniques to optimize their sewing practice.
CLASS DATES:
November Session: Tuesdays, November 12th, 19th, and 26th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
December Session: TBA
SUPPLY LIST:
Students enrolled in this Learn to Sew workshop will be expected to have the following on the first day of class:
Sewing scissors
Rotary cutter
Pen or pencil
A sewing machine in good working order. Here is a list of sewing machines for beginners. (We recommend this sewing machine)
