Intro to Indigo with Sara Eberhart

Are you interested in natural dyeing?  Bring a friend and spend the afternoon learning the basics of dyeing natural fibers with Indigo.  After experimenting with binding techniques, you will learn how to create a value of blues from light to dark.  Everyone will leave with their own set of 4 hand dyed tea towels.  All materials are provided and you are also welcome to bring any small, 100% natural fiber items to dye. 

Dress for mess and prepare to be bending, reaching, standing.

Sara has been a maker of things her entire life. She enjoys designing her home to reflect her personal style and first experimented with making art for her home.

Sara was an art educator in the public school setting for almost twenty years and learned a great deal about art history and art materials.
