Learn techniques to create exciting and unique mixed media weavings on a simple loom (supplied for you). You'll learn stitches to weave in with yarn and fabric and how to add beads, jewelry parts and all sorts of fun embellishments to create a lively, textured piece. You’ll also learn to make special tassels, pompoms, and fringes to add to the body and edges of your weaving. No weaving or art experience is necessary to take this workshop, or to make fabulous pieces of art. Perfect for beginning through advanced artists.

All materials will be supplied, including a large and wonderful selection of fabrics and yarns, looms, weaving needles and warp string. Please bring fabric scissors if you have them, and household scissors if not. Optionally, you're most welcome to bring fabric, yarn, string, buttons, beads and other fibers and embellishments.
